§ 90-96. Stop intersections designated.

  • (a)

    It shall be and is hereafter unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to proceed through the intersection with a stop sign posted without first bringing the motor vehicle to a complete stop and to proceed only when traffic has cleared the intersection.

    (b)

    The city manager is hereby authorized to erect signs at the appropriate places at such intersection in order to implement this section.

    (c)

    Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished according to the provisions of section 1-14.
