§ 98-61. Required.

Latest version.

It shall be unlawful for any person to drive or operate any taxicab upon or over the streets of the city, unless there has been issued for such taxicab a permit duly issued by the chief of police, which is in force and effect. It shall likewise be unlawful for any person to cause or permit any taxicab owned by him to be driven or operated in violation of this section.
